Oh, Matthew......

Matthew is such a ball of energy. Recently he has done some pretty silly things that have left us giggling...

Like sleeping in this tube....

Daddy: I think it's your turn to pray for dinner, Matthew.

Matthew: No, it's yours....I think if I pray I will throw up......

All of us: WHAT?

His prayers are usually really sweet.

Like this one....

Matthew: Dear God, thank you for this beautiful day. Please help my finger to get better. Thank you that my toe is better. Thank you for everybody. Please help Jenna to come home safely. Thank you for this food. In Jesus's name, Amen.

On Thursday he woke up and said....

Matthew: Mommy! It's time to open presents!

Mom: No it's not.

Matthew: Yes it is! It's Christmas!

I don't know where he got the idea that it was Christmas....

I don't know what we would do without this sweet little boy. :-)
