Recent Activities....

On Tuesday after the trip to the Symphony everyone went to the Fox Theatre on a tour. I happened to get sick and then I wasn't able to go. Everyone that did get to go though had fun!

Finally....

My twirly skirt! This isn't a very good picture, but it's the only one I have right now and I am going to be lazy and not just take another one. By the way, I'm the short one.

For some reason, God wanted me to have the most lovable, happy, silly, crazy, goofy, loud, nice, annoying, siblings on the Earth.

I still don't know why He gave them to me.

But I'm glad He did!

Why is he so cute?? Before he was born I didn't want I brother. Maybe an older one but I couldn't do anything about that. But God knows what is best and now that he is here I know that life without Matthew would be so different. Because he is here I now know all about John Deere, trains, truck and all sorts of boyish things. I thank God all the time for this little ball of energy.

I finished my twirly skirt tonight! I am really pleased with it. I was able to find some really nice fabric that is redish-orange with white flowers on it. I am soo excited!! I will be posting pictures sometime......

The Joy of Summer....

Being able to eat ice cream and get it all over you. Who would do this in the Winter??

I have made a pattern for a twirly skirt!! I hope to buy fabric and make my skirt soon. It should be done in time for the Valentines dance on the 12th!

Found on a Hot Chocolate box.....

Wrap your hands around the warm mug,
inhale the chocolate aroma and take a slow sip of creamy, sweet hot cocoa.
Suddenly, the world it a better place.

Indulge in a creamy cup of coziness. It's so easy:
if you can heat water, you can relax with a warm, sweet treat in seconds.

At the end of a hard day, you'll find that a warm mug of chocolaty cocoa brings instant comfort and serenity.

This classic treat can sweeten any activity. It's perfect for watching a movie, doing homework or filling out a crossword puzzle. It makes paying bills easier.
It can brighten the bleakest Monday morning or rainy afternoon. And nothing is more effective at getting the kids to sit down the breakfast.
And hot cocoa is the ideal after-dinner drink. It can stand on it's own as a dessert, or as a complement to a plate of cookies.

It's done!! It's finally done! I started on this baby sweater during Babes in Toyland. For all of you who don't know when that was it happened before Thanksgiving. I am just now finishing it, not because I knit slow, but because I procrastinate. I started to knit it for a baby who's shower was two weeks away. I didn't finish in time for the shower so I thought I would finish it when the baby was born. Well, Miss Isabelle Davis was born and guess what!! No baby sweater. I had to make myself finish it because if I didn't she would be to big the wear it. I am very glad I did finish it though, and I have started making another for no one in mind. I hope I won't take as much time on this one.....
