Tomorrow I will be heading to Searcy, Arkansas for Harding University's Honor Choir program. This will be the first time I have even gone somewhere and done something new by myself.
Confession: I am scared.
For my whole life I have always have a sister with me wherever I have gone. That's about to change, and since Jenna is going to Harding in a month I just need to get used to it. I keep having doubts like "What if I don't know the music well enough??" "What if my roommate thinks I'm weird??" "What if I don't understand what the professors are talking about??" "What if no one likes me??". At moments like these I just need to keep telling myself that God is always by my side.
I plan on having a great time at Harding because "It's great to be at Harding!", but I still am nervous, but I am ready to start on this new adventure in my life.

Deer Valley Ranch-Day 5
Wednesday! On Wednesday we all went to the family picnic and softball game. It was a great time to be out in the woods and to have fun. The softball game was one of the best games ever! I was on Colin's team and we won by a lot!!
That afternoon the teen went to Newbee's, a thrift store in Buena Vista, to get crazy outfits to go bowling in. Jenna and I dressed up as crazy circus people and Rebecca was a girl from the 50's.
Nickie and Layton dressed up as janitors. I think they must have gotten the weirdest looks.
Riley and Madison dressed up as "Edith and Earl". I love both of them so much!! The are the best.
Rebecca and Colin.

Deer Valley Ranch- Day 3&4
Monday!
On Monday we woke up at 5:30 so that we could be down to the corral at 6. See, every Monday they have a Wranglers Breakfast where you can ride horses, hike or ride in the cattle truck out to the breakfast place. When we get out to breakfast they fed us so much good food!! Donuts, Juice, Eggs, Bacon, Grits, it was amazing! After we eat they have a devotional and sing some songs. Then we head back to the ranch. We later played an awesome game of Frisbee golf. After dinner we had a couple of the teen girls over to our cabin to get ready for the square dance. We had a great time getting ready and we had a great time at the dance. I can say that I had the most handsome cowboy for a partner during the chicken dance, Matthew. In his words "I look like a real cowboy!". And he most certainly did!Tuesday!
Nickie, Rebecca and I went on the teen horseback ride in the morning. We had the most amazing lunch, the Mexican Buffet!! That night we had the teen camp-out!! We had so much fun!! We played Sardines, two truths and a lie and told stories. We were also attacked with water balloons from an unknown source. :-) We had a great night.
